STUDY ABROAD OPENS MORE OPPORTUNITIES

Nowadays, we can see that many children from Indonesia study in foreign country. It’s because many parents in Indonesia want to give the best education for their children. So, they search for the best schools or collages and most of the best schools or collages are located in foreign country. Beside that, parents think that if their children study in foreign country and get academic degree and licensed from that college, it makes the children easier to get job in Indonesia and they may be able to get the higher salary than the children that graduate in Indonesia. In addition, the children will get new experiences of life in new cultures and it also can save money.

We can see many enterprises in Indonesia, if in their enterprises have two people wanting to apply for job vacancy, and one of them is licensed from famous foreign college, he/she will take the first priority compared with the second applicant that is licensed from Indonesian college, because many of enterprises in Indonesia accept their employees by seeing their education background. In foreign colleges have many useful subjects that aren’t available in Indonesia. So when they work in Indonesia, they will get paid higher.

Different countries have different cultures, so they bring different experiences and languages. We can use the different culture and experiences to solve different problems. It can’t be any doubt that they will be fluent in some foreign languages. And they have good quality of subject concentration. Consequently what they study must be more integrated and compact.

Duration of time spent in Indonesia sounds a bit longer than it is spent in foreign country. Indonesia education systems have three levels which is divided into primary school, junior high school, and senior high school, which take 12 years to complete. Meanwhile, in foreign country they only spend 10 years to complete the same levels. So, they can save 2 years. Averagely they graduate at the age of 16. Then they will continue to college. They only spend 2 years, but in Indonesia they have to spend 4 years until 7 years (for medical science).

So studying in foreign country is more beneficial, because the most important thing is we can save the time especially our age. Fantastically at the age of 25 they can get the degree of professor or Phd (doctor of philosophy), which is possibly got at the age of 30 or more in Indonesia. By saving the time, of course we can save money too.
